Reviewed in the United States???? I've been wearing Redwings for over 10 years but the style that I've worn forever was discontinued so I came here looking for a replacement. I normally would get about a year to 15 months out of a pair of good work boots (like Redwings), cheaper models would last about six months or less. Almost a year on and these boots are still like new. The soles (which is what wears out first) show no signs of wear yet.....
The boots have broken in great and are extremely comfortable. Laces and eyelets are all in great shape yet. And the leather shows very little signs of wear. I'm expecting to get about two years out of these boots which is unheard of my line of work (equipment mechanic).
I'm outdoors 98% of the time and I'm in mud, snow, oil, you name it. The only con I can think of is that it took longer than normal to break these boots in.I had to switch between these and my old Redwings in the beginning to avoid sore feet. But once they were broken in I haven't looked back. I'm a customer for life!
